Coleman: We're relieved but it's not good enough
Coventry City manager Chris Coleman said the atmosphere in the changing room was 'not good' after the Sky Blues escaped relegation by an inch.
Following a 4-1 defeat to Charlton - which meant City could have gone down had Leicester City scored - the manager admitted he was bitterly disappointed with the manner in which the Sky Blues finished the season.
"Everyone is relieved that we haven't got relegated but the players aren't happy and that's the way it should be.
"We had our destiny in our own hands and we didn't capitalise on that. Instead, we relied on other results and that nearly cost us dearly.
"Today was my worst day as a manager in my career. I didn't want to know the results in the first half in the second, I said to Oggy to keep me informed.
"We guessed it would go down to the wire but I didn't expect how close it would be."
