City's Performance Manager, John Harbin, today visited students at Stoke Park sixth form to give a talk on nutrition.

Harbin, a former rugby league and boxing coach, entertained the AS and A-level students with stories of his experience of sports training and diet. Amongst the topics were healthy eating and exercise, body fat analysis and changes to diet for injured and recovering athletes.

The students, aged between 16 and 18 years old, were preparing for their higher education exams this summer. After the session, pupils were given a chance to put their questions to Harbin and some even came away with hints and tips for their own personal health plans.

"I enjoyed talking to a group like this who want to learn" commented Harbin. "Most people know the basics of healthy eating but make the wrong choices. I hope that this talk today will have not only helped these pupils in their studies but with their own personal decisions as well."
