Cookie on Colchester
A storming second-half performance saw the Sky Blues beat Colchester United 5-1 at the weekend - and Chris Coleman had nothing but praise for his City side, who were losing the fixture at half-time.
"It was a good way to finish and that's credit to the players," said Coleman.
"Some of the game we have played away from home we have struggled to get a bit of consistency in.
"This was a tough fixture and we were one-nil down at half-time and it would have been easy to lose your nerve and lose patience. But we never did that. They played with confidence and to get five goals away from home is fantastic.
"We started brightly but went behind although it looked like their goal was offside. We came for the second half with our sleeves rolled up and we controlled the performance. That's the reason that we won the game."
And although both Zavon Hines and Michael Mifsud both wanted to take the second penalty, Coleman was clear about team instructions.
"There was no debate - Elliott Ward was taking the penalty. He's the one that takes the penalties. Goal difference for us is so important. The more goals we score, the better the goal difference and I wanted to keep with our chosen penalty taker."
And Cookie believes that a win in the final two games should be enough to keep the Sky Blues out of League One.
"I think another three points will be enough for us - I hope. If we win against Wolves and it's not enough and we've got to go to Charlton and get something, then so be it. We're not safe yet and we are not taking anything for granted."
