Chris Coleman couldn't hide his disappointment after the Sky Blues lost 2-1 to Watford at Vicarage Road this afternoon.

City had been on level terms in the game after Leon Best cancelled out Nathan Ellington's opener, but Tommy Smith's late strike took all three points for the Hornets.

Coleman had thought that the Sky Blues were much improved after the break, following a first half where they had failed to get to grips with the home side.

"I am really upset because I thought we deserved more," said the manager following the game.

"We were disappointing in the first half because we didn't play our own football, but we looked much brighter in the second half and I honestly thought we were going to get something from the match.

"I feel for Danny Fox after he slipped in the build-up to their second goal. He has been outstanding for us this season and we just didn't have the rub of the green.

"I know I keep saying it but the next four matches really are Cup finals for us. We have to go into every game with the sole intention of winning because if we don't, we could be in real trouble.

"It is in our own hands."
