Zavon Hines has been awarded squad number nine and comes into the reckoning for the Sky Blues' game against Plymouth at the Ricoh Arena this Saturday.

With Leon Best suspended for two matches, Chris Coleman is short of attacking options and Hines - signed on loan from West Ham until the end of the season - could be thrown into the  mix against Argyle.

Although he is yet to make a first team appearance for the Hammers, the 19-year-old has been a regular in the reserve side of late, where he has made a good impression  playing alongside the likes of Dean Ashton, Bobby Zamora and youngster Freddy Sears who has recently made the breakthrough into the first team at Upton Park.

Hammers reserve team coach Kevin Keen recently credited Hines with turning an FA Premier Reserve League game against Fulham where he came on to net a late goal and propel them towards a 2-0 victory.

Hines is regarded as a bright prospect at West Ham, capable of playing up front or on the wing. Comfortable in possession, he likes to run at opposition defenders and has excellent control and skill. He is also not afraid to chase back and work hard.
