One in, three out for Sky Blues
Coventry City have signed West Ham striker Zavon Hines ahead of the loan deadline as well as releasing three players on loan until the end of the season.
Hines links up with the Sky Blues on a loan deal until the end of the current campaign.
A product of the Hammers Academy, the 19-year-old was on trial with Bury earlier this campaign and has been a regular in the Upton Park outfit's reserve side for several seasons.
Leaving the Ricoh Arena are Colin Hawkins, Wayne Andrews and Donovan Simmonds.
Hawkins has joined Chesterfield, Andrews was all set to link up with Bristol Rovers, while Simmonds has signed for Gillingham.
Hawkins and Andrews were recently named amongst eight Coventry City players who will be released when their contracts expire at the end of the season.
Centre-back Hawkins joins League Two play-off hopefuls Chesterfield, having been injured for the vast majority of this season.
The 30-year-old has only played one game for the Sky Blues this season - in the Carling Cup win over Notts County last August - taking his tally to 14 appearances following his switch from Shelbourne in January 2007.
Minutes ahead of the 5pm deadline, Andrews was due to sign for Bristol Rovers, currently positioned in 18th place in League One. The 30-year-old striker has made 12 appearances for the Sky Blues in two seasons, scoring one goal.
Finally, Simmonds joins the Gills who are looking to escape the League One drop zone. After penning a two-year deal from Charlton last summer, the 19-year-old is yet to make a first team appearance for the Sky Blues but has been a reserve team regular all season.
