Michael Mifsud scored FIVE goals for Malta tonight as his country thrashed Liechtenstein 7-1.

The diminutive striker scored a hat-trick in the first 19 minutes of the game - two of them penalties - before notching up two after the break in the friendly to complete his haul.

Mifsud will now link up with the Sky Blues squad on Friday ahead of Saturday's crucial home game against Plymouth, when he will undoubtedly be hoping to continue his goalscoring form.
