Academy go down to Saints
Coventry City's U18s finished their Academy League season with a 4-0 defeat at home to Southampton.
Gregor Rioch's side had two early shots but fell behind in the ninth minute when Nile Ranger headed home from six yards following a deep Oscar Gosborn free kick.
In the sixteenth minute, Saints, who used their height advantage well, doubled their lead when Ian Jones raced through to fire past the helpless Collett.
It was a free kick which led to their Southampton's third goal in the 38th minute.
A long free kick was met by the head of the biggest player on the pitch, Ryan Hazoli, who looped the ball into the net from close range. Kayne McWaggon turned inside the area and finished with a low drive for a fourth goal.
