Collett and West offered professional contracts
Coventry City FC are pleased to announce that goalkeeper Neil Collett and striker Matthew West have been offered one-year professional contracts with the Club.
Collett and West, who have been with the club for eight and ten years respectively, now have the opportunity to break into City's first-team with their first foot on the professional ladder.
West, who has missed most of his second year due to a fractured back and a broken foot has the chance to impress Chris Coleman and his back room staff alongside his team-mate Collett.
Unfortunately seven players have not been offered professional contracts at the Club. Liam Francis, Dean Marshall, Andy Richie, Callum Burgess, Kieran Fitzharris, Liam Robinson and Reis Ashraf have all been released.
The Academy and CCFC would like to wish all the players the best of luck in their quest to find other clubs.
