The Sky Blues U18s take on Aston Villa tomorrow away from home in what looks to be a nail-biting game.

City were originally due to play the Midlands club last weekend but the game was postponed due to Villa's involvement in the FA Youth Cup.

The Sky Blues suffered a disappointing 3-1 defeat a fortnight ago against Berkshire side Reading, which saw Ashley Cain net his first goal for the U18s.

Villa are on a good run of form this season, winning 17 games out of 22 this campaign.

Academy manager Greg Rioch is positive the boys will put 100% effort in and is hopeful for a pleasing result.

"The lads always put 100% effort into the game and we all know Villa away is a difficult fixture. It is important to remember it isn't all about results at this age but about development of players as well."

KO is 11am at Bodymoor Heath home to Aston Villa Academy.
